IEPSCV policies and code of conduct
For Spring/Fall Session Classes:
Class length is typically 45 minutes depending on the energy level and well being of the class, with 15 minutes for setup/takedown, admin, feedback with parents.
Parents or a designated family member or aide need to be available at all times during class.
For Summer Camp:
Camp Day Program runs for 2.5 hrs each day, M-F from 1:30-4:00pm.
Parents or a designated family member or aide need to be available at all times during camp, unless otherwise previously arranged with IEPSCV. A parent or guardian always needs to be reachable by phone and/or text message.
General Policies:
Tuition to be paid by first class/day of camp or SDP invoice request sent in to kristen.iepscv@gmail.com by the week prior to camp/ session
Clothing should be able to be moved in, no jeans in Movement Class. No inappropriate slogans, language, or images on clothing
No food or drink in the classroom or studio. Water only
No shoes in Dance Studio
No hanging on barres or touching mirrors for safety reasons
Please take all cell phones or other conversations outside of classroom
Refunds given in full after first class if student doesn’t feel comfortable: 50% refund given after 2nd class, no refunds after 3rd class
Given our tight rental schedule no make up classes will be given unless otherwise stated
Please try to be on time to class. If late, please enter quietly so as to not disturb class in progress.
If at all ill please do not come to class. If still coughing and sneezing please, please wear a mask or give students extra recoup time as we have lots of higher risk students in class. Please email us @ kristen.iepscv@gmail.com to notify of absence as early as possible
Performances are not mandatory but please indicate on registration form if your student is performing or not, so that we will have accurate costume ordering numbers
Costume fees included in tuition
Participant aggressive behaviors: If the student is not being safe with themselves or others they will be required to have a one on one ( provided by the guardian ) in order to attend classes and /or camp. If the behaviors are not able to be managed by the one on one the student may be asked to leave the program. Aggressive behaviors defined as but not limited to: biting, hair pulling, pinching, hitting, kicking, eloping, spitting, or disrobing. IEPSCV understands that all students react differently to situations but the safety of all of our participants must be considered. Please discuss any concerns you may have with us prior to beginning the program so that we can best prepare and work with you and your student so that we have the best experience possible for all.
